Sons of Italy
The Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA) is the largest and longest-established national organization for men and women of Italian heritage in the United States. Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity are the human values that exemplify the ideals for which OSIA stands – freedom of thought, conscience and education; equal rights and duties for all as granted by the U.S. Constitution; and fraternity in the brotherhood of man. The IMI's goal in redesigning the Order Sons of Italy website was to give the Cincinnati Lodge a cutting edge, fresh web presence, enhance communication among members, and better notify the community at large of the many events OSIA are involved with each year. This site was developed using an open source content management system called Joomla! to allow the Sons of Italy to easily maintain their website.

The service has been so successful, NKU and TANK partnered to expand the program, more than doubling the available buses. The expansion of TANK's Mobile Wi-Fi is phase two of a four-year $1.6 million Congressionally Directed Appropriation secured by U.S. Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY) for NKU's College of Informatics. The project is being administered by the Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) over a four-year period and focuses on transportation technology research.
